The Chicago Biomedicine Information Services department (CBIS) is dedicated to the core values of Service, Stability and Security.

CBIS will provide the highest quality technology-based services, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the CBIS' cross-departmental and divisional goals of management, teaching, learning, and research.

TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANCE & SUPPORT CENTER (TASC)
TASC provides Service Desk, field technical support and consulting on CBIS-supported hardware and software. Call the Service Desk at 2-3456 for assistance or to set up a consulting appointment with a technician.
ENTERPRISE SERVICES GROUP (ESG)

ESG provides support for the CBIS' critical enterprise infrastructure: divisional email, calendaring, file sharing, data backup and restore, and more.
IT RISK AND SECURITY
(formerly InfoSec)

The ITRS team provides information, resources, and assistance to the Division for computer security.ITRS also provides detailed security assessments and recommendations for all types of computing environments.
APPLICATIONS RESOURCE GROUP (formerly DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT)

CBIS offers web site services for academic departments and business units in the CBIS, including free and paid hosting options, web page design templates, an online survey generator, and other tools to help you improve your site.
