The Service Desk asks me for my Asset Tag; what is this?

Workstations supported by CBIS are tagged with an "asset tag" [pictured below]. The tag is either a black and grey tag labeled "Biological Sciences Division Asset" or a gold tag labeled "The University of Chicago Hospitals." Both tags include a bar code and a number. The tag is placed on the outside of the machine usually on top of the computer tower.

These tags allow the Service Desk Analyst or a field engineer the ability to look up information about the workstation (location, model, etc.)
