
Don't hang up! Mondays are our busiest call day, but most calls are answered within five to ten minutes.
To ensure proper tracking, all requests must be ticketed before they can be assigned to an engineer. There are two ways to obtain a service request:
Phone (preferred) - Call the Service Desk at 773-702-3456 and speak to an Analyst in order to place a service request.
Email - Email support is available for non-critical issues via help@bsd.uchicago.edu. For faster processing, please include complete contact information and a thorough description of your problem. (Note: Emails are not monitored off-hours, and will be ticketed within 2-3 business days.)
